Footpath near sainsburies

Hi,

Could you please contact Sharon Tyler on 349173. She has noticed several problems with the paving slabs near sainsburies and is concerned that during the winter they will be impassable by the elderly residents living in the area trying to get to the supermarket.

Could someone please have a look at the paving slabs between st hughes church and the church bungalows on haycroft street as they are becoming very uneven and a lady fell whilst pushing a wheelchair the other day.

Kerb and footpath replacement

Hi Jason,

I have been led to believe recently that there is no repair and maintenance schedule for the above in the West Marsh. Surly this cannot be correct. Would you please look into this issue for me as the elderly and deprived population is quite high on the West Marsh so we have lots of people with poor mobility unable to get around as they cannot afford the transport and are unable to walk because of the deplorable condition of the foot paths and kerbs.

Following a meeting with Neil Barber the community payback staff have been allocated to the duke of york gardens for a time to enable the better use of their time in the winter. I hope we can get some more things done with them too.
